This is my bosses wife's entry in the Real Women of Philedelphia Recipe contest. Laurie is a GREAT cook, and is presenting one of our favorite regional dishes. Polenta (Grits to you southerners)

I really hope Laurie makes it to the finals because she has the talent and the stage presence to pull it off!

Hey Y'all, this week we're asking you to send in a Side Dish. You have between 12:00 PM PST Monday, March 29 and 6:00 PM PST April 4 to send in your Side Dish videos.
I hope seeing that delicious bowl of mashed potatoes with Philadelphia Cream Cheese got your wheels turning for you gals to think of your own side dishes! The only criteria is that you use cream cheese as an ingredient, otherwise, the sky is the limit, y'all!

We need you to tape yourselves making your dish, (get tons of tips on the HOW TO SUBMIT) section in the Real Women of Philadelphia site (http://www.pauladeen.com/realwomen), and then we need for you to send that video on in to us here. Just follow the easy steps on the How To Submit tab and you'll be on your way to becoming a Real Woman of Philadelphia! Remember, we select 16 ladies to fly over to Savannah to hang with me, and we will eventually crown the top 4 gals as the winners. Those winners receive a talent contract worth $25,000 each, the chance to contribute a cookbook, a NYC publicity tour, and will be the stars of their own online cooking videos--all of this just from cookin' your favorite side dish!

For the next three weeks, we'll move on to appetizers, entrees and desserts, so put on your thinking caps for those, too. Familiarize yourselves with the easy ways to make your videos, send 'em on in to us, and wait to become a star! It's so easy, gals, and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Love and Best Dishes!
