So we put on a Customer Appreciation BBQ at Work on Saturday and served around 200 people. At the end of the Day there were 5 cooked Tri tips left and a bunch of Ends from the tri tips.

So now I have 2 Cooked Tri tips vacuum packed frozen in the freezer for emergency meals, and a gallon Ziploc full of Slices of the Tri tip ends.

Other than Sandwich meat, What can I do with these remnents? Lets hear your Ideas and Recipes.

Whenever I have leftover meat it almost always goes into fajitas. Usually with mushrooms. In fact I may go get some meat out of the freezer right now for that purpose.

I like making a hash, with carrots, potatos and onion diced up and fried in bacon grease. Throw the diced up meat in right at the end to warm it up. Not fancy, but tasty! (anything with bacon grease, right? Laughing )

Leftover meat makes a good starter for stew or a casserole.

If there is enough of the sides left, I will sometimes make up some microwave meals to freeze and take to work.

Fajita's is what i used to do with them, but I have an 11 year old son he is the cure for the common leftover.
