and blacktail deer are RECLUSIVE? Silly bucks. I think what we have here is this. About 4 years ago there were several does that found out that this old prune dryer is not only private, but it's dark and cool and the flys don't bother them during the heat of the day. So they had their fawns there. I think these could very well be some of the past fawns that came back for shelter???? the one ain't not fawn no more...and archery season opens in less than a month! and no...I wouldn't shoot him in the barn. But i would shoot him if he goes to feed out in the apple/prune/pear orhard...if i can get a good shot at him. I seem to alway see his hind end leaping in the opposite direction whenever I even try to get a good look. thank goodness for trail cams! btw...i won't bore you with the forked horn buck.
