Isn't it about time for a cooking contest again?

I propose a Crock pot recipe challenge.

Anyone up for a contest?

Here is my Idea....subject to change.

Open to all comers...submit your recipe and directions. All interested members have a Week (7 days) maybe 2 weeks... to prepare and score the recipe.

All Sage creek members are eligible to prepare the crock pot dish and score it.

Scoring to be done via an anonymous poll on the thread dedicated to that crock pot recipe. Highest average score to be the winner.

Scoring to be based on :

Availability of ingredients

Economy of recipe

Simplicity of recipe

Clarity and ease of following recipe

Use of game meat

And of course taste.

any other scoring parameters?

It uis my hope that this will encourage folks to look for new ways to make use of some of those cuts that are grouns or stewed, and can be started in the morning before we leave to hunt and be ready when we get back from the day-hunt.
