While I have had tag soup the last two attempts at Mt. Lions, I can't say that they were unsuccessful trips. Yes, I'm the type of person that looks at all aspects of a hunt before deciding if it was good or bad. With that it mind, I still very much enjoy filling out my tag.
With a lion and two wolf tags in my pocket, I'm feeling very optimistic about this trip. Leaving Xmas eve does suck but I'm looking forward to providing a successful hunt report when I return.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all _________________ "a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." |

I fly out Sat morning from Pittsburgh to Denver then to Spokane. The worst part of the trip will be sitting in a hotel room from noon of the 24th till some time early Christmas afternoon.
I will most likely be hunting in the Joe with Avery, Id being the base of operations. I hunted in the Joe two years ago and in the Clearwater last year. _________________ "a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." |

I'll be either in the apartment above the Avery Gift shop or in a camper across the river. I'm the only client this week so I'm not sure where I will be at. _________________ "a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." |

Besat of luck and Merry Christmas. You are spending it in a place I have fond memories of. Hope you can kill some predators in the Upper Joe Drainage near spruce tree camp ground. _________________ Sometimes when you think the deck is totally stacked against you and that elk hunting is the stupidest activity on earth, remember that there are thousands of people out there who would love to be miserable like you right now... |

Just took out the last load of clothes from the washer, there was this odd crimson red on my gear?
I'll share a bit more tomorrow. _________________ "a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." |

Son of a gun .My boy lives on Frye Ave, on the west end of Finleyvile. It's the original farm house before Finleyville was a town.
I spent many Friday nights of my misspent youth at the Finleyville comunity hall dances.
I letf there in 64. We livde out on Rt 36 , about 4 miles outside of Monongahela. My folks are both gone now,but my brother lives in Dad's house. _________________ If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and sawbucks.
