Who will be hunting turkeys this Spring?
Our season opens tomorrow March 14th. I will not be hunting the opener, but I do have one Grandson that will be hunting. _________________ http://knotholesawmill.com |

No word from the Grandson, so apparently he did not score this morning. He is probably hunting now. Afternoon/evening hunts can be productive. _________________ http://knotholesawmill.com |

Yeah!! Good for him!!!
Three varieties have been transplanted to WA. I need to check when the WA season opens- haven't been out for turks for many years. Got all the gear, but not many around here compared with the S states. _________________ Greg

I've been going with the bow since that allows a person to hunt from April 13 to May 17 this year. If a person opts for a gun tag, it is for one of the four seasons:
April 13 - 16, 2015 Season 1
April 17 - 21, 2015 Season 2
April 22 - 28, 2015 Season 3
April 29 - May 17, 2015 Season 4
I think a person can get gun tags, but one of them has to be for season 4. I usually buy two bow tags before the season, I've tagged on a double in the past with the bow. |

My first turkey------ will have to wait, again.
So take us along on your hunts, folks. Arm chair wannabes enjoy reading the adventures of others. _________________ Greg
