Hey Y'all,
I got a recipe off survivalblog (bold is what I used to suit my tastes):
1 cup crunchy peanut butter (or other nut butters)
1/2-3/4 cup Maple syrup, honey, or corn syrup
2-3 cups rolled oats, crushed rice crispys, corn
flakes.
chopped pecans
1/4 tsp salt
In a sauce pan bring syrup to a boil, add peanut butter and rolled oats and salt until mixture is like dough. Let cool. Need dough and roll in nuts and/or other goodies (M&Ms, shredded coconut etc). wrap in tin foil or plastic.
Makes about 10 candy bar sized servings.
By my calculations this batch more or less has 760 g carbs, 95g protein and 3550 calories
