Hi Ya'll,
Found a recipe that everyone in my family eats with glee, doesn't matter what wild game meat you use. It's a version of Satay, and you have to like curry.
2 lbs of whatever meat you have, cut into 3/4 inch thick by 1 or 2 inches long, whatever you can put on skewers.
Marinade:
2 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs sesame oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs curry
2 Tbs lemon juice
2 Tbs brown sugar
1 to 2 tsp minced garlic... depends how close you want your friends.
I put all ingredients into a magic bullet to mix thoroughly.
Put the meat into a plastic freezer bag and pour in marinade.
Remove as much air as possible and seal.
Marinate for 6 hours in the fridge.
I use bamboo skewers, put the meat on the skewer, fire up the grill and cook until done to your liking. As always with wild game, don't use to high of heat and don't overcook. You'll eat till your sick. Enjoy!!!
